I am your average 35 year old family man who let himself go for six to eight years and is now climbing out of fatness to fitness. I have made a run at becoming fit more than a few times but something seems to always get in the way and then I quit. Well I will not quit nor rest this time.
So, what makes this journey different from all of the other journey’s you may ask?
First and foremost, I am publishing my journey real time on the Internet. I have also built multiple automotivating systems into my days and weeks to help maintain the momentum on this journey and keep me engaged. Secondly, I need to figure out how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body for my children. My parents tried but failed to figure it out and now I am going down the same road they traveled. I’m not trying to be mean I am just stating that I want my children to know there is a path to healthy living that they can follow and the map is laid out right here within this site. Third, I have found my faith in Heavenly Father and have his strength and backing to push me over the rough patches and areas of low motivation. Last but not least, I have you here to help and encourage me – so comment away and send me your love.
My current goal/affirmation will be completed by 9/16/2009. (they are in present tense for motivational reasons, see the blog for current stats)
